Ask: cancer, head
kitten

I got spam with the subject line saying something about "In fact, all of these strategies for giving yourself cancer have one thing in common: the suppression of your natural immune system." I was curious, so I searched Ask for a snippet of that line, hoping to find the article that the spam had quoted.

Apparently Ask thinks giving cancer is like giving head. I wish it was. Then everyone would want cancer!

Also, people search about giving themselves wedgies????

Curse you, Ask!

My mustache is overly light-colored, making it less visible. Therefore, I was considering facial hair styles without a mustache. I searched images.ask.com for 'goatee' to see examples. And there are a surprising number of naked men in the results. For most Ask failings, I would put a screenshot up, but I'm sure you've seen enough naked men already.

I don't know why the keyword 'goatee' is linked to nudity, but I'm curious. Not curious enough to find out at work, though. That also raises the following concern: I wish that Ask could filter those out so that I could see facial hair without penises, especially at work.

Also, I had a good time with Kate in Prague and Krakow, and I'll post about it soon.

Ask.com is too helpful

Sometimes I think Ask.com can be a little too helpful, in ways I don't need. And it may not really be working in my best interests. Consider this evidence that Ask.com needs to employ more editors:
